ADDITIONAL TREATMENT - KEY-SHIELD

For Surfaces where Fire Safety is Key

Keystones’s Key-SHIELD expand and effectively extinguish the flow of heat to the treated surface, providing fire retardant protection to your timber and saving lives. Key-SHIELD is water and solvent-based clear intumescent coating system designed for use on interior timber wall and ceiling surfaces and is available in a matt or satin finish.

Keystones’s KEY-SHIELD for application onto timber based substrates with a minimum density of 338 kg/m3 and a minimum thickness of 8mm and used on internal wall and ceiling lining applications.

Keystones’s KEY-SHIELD will achieve Group 1 rating and an average specific extinction area of less than 250m2/kg.

KEY-SHIELD refer to three different water based intumescent coating systems:

Keystones’s KEY-GUARD Coating incorporates Biomaster technology. Biomaster pioneered the use of silver-based antimicrobial additives and today is the recognised leader in antimicrobial technology.
